Hey Bros!
Welcome to Twitter in Focus where media comes to die. Today’s contestant is movie star and computer actor, Justin Long. Let’s see what he’s tweeting.
February 12th: “TGIF, Twitter! #PrettyHappyMad ”
Damn, Twitter hates Justin.
February 14th: “Happy Valentine’s Day from http://www.thegirlshome.com in Nicaragua! They get 1 pig every 6 months – help them get 2 ”
That doesn’t sound like a romantic gift, but to each his own.
February 14th: “St Valentine’s Day: the celebration of love. Girls, like Juliet, are in dire need of yours http://www.thegirlshome.com ”
Seems like a weird holiday to use for charity, but whatevs.
February 15th: “More like Rutherford BAE Hayes! #Right??? #PresidentsDayyyyum #TrendingIn1893 ”
All hail the dreamy chief.
February 21st: “My attempt to get #BeardMonocle to trend. Thanks, @ATXfacialhair + @mohawkaustin! ”
You’d be constantly replacing the glass every time you shower.
February 21st: “Looking up showtimes for #TheRevenant pic.twitter.com/ZLkPMNKVU2”
I bear-ly noticed.
Okay, let’s rate Justin’s tweets. Like most movie stars, he’s doing charity, so good for him. I give him a 7 for Mustness, a 6 for Insanity and a 8 for Style. That’s an overall score of 7. Follow Justin.
And if you have a suggestion for Twitter in Focus, email me here.

Looking for something different to see in the theaters, I noticed they were showing the shorts. Sounded good. Didn’t know what to expect.
Turns out, it was only 4 movies. Guess they’re not that short. Plus the beginning of the movie indicated it “Live Action” and then “Foreign Movies”, which to me implied there would be some non-live action and American films. Then the last one was American, so that was confusing.
The movies also seemed to show best to worst. There were all decent, but the first movie was very good. It was called Ava Maria and it took place in Palestine. A couple and one of their mothers (all Jewish) break down at a Palestinian nunnery on Shabbat. The nuns have taken a vow of silence and it’s funny to watch the characters deal with each other’s religious restrictions. The movie had a lot of detail and humanity.
Next was the likely Oscar winner, a story about a bike and the friendship of two boys, which all takes place in Serbia/Kosovo during the war. Very sad. Then there was a British film about a stutterer trying to meet a girl. Finally, the American film was about a translator on her first day in Afghanistan. Surprisingly, this last short was the longest, but was the least ambitious. It felt like an episode of M*A*S*H* crammed with way too much melodrama.
Overall, I was kind of hoping for shorter, funnier films. I like the first two a lot, but the second two seemed to have a lot of fat that could’ve been trimmed. This is more of a rental for film buffs or look for the shorts on The Short Movie Channel. Whoever has that.
I give Oscar Shorts Live Action 2016, 6 out of 10 keggers.

Restaurant: Dia De Los Burritos
Address: 24 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ 08071
Food: Burritos
Price: Average
Portions: Large
Taste: Excellent
Service: Good
Atmosphere: Crowded
The Missus and I were dying for some burritos, but we were kinda sick of Chipotle. I did a google search and this place came up, so we took a trip.
I gotta say, the drive was totally worth it. The burritos were excellent. Fresh ingredients and seared inside. I guess they heated up the tortilla, wrapped up the ingredients and sealed it up on the grill. The best part about it, each burrito is custom made.
The only downside is that it’s more of a take out place. There are three tables and we just happen to get there when the tables were free, but it quickly filled up with college students looking to get a burrito. It’s a shame, there are only three tables. Well, six, but the pairs are pushed together to make three and there’s really only just enough room for them. So if you do go, be prepared to take the burrito home or in your car. Not that I’m knocking the place at all, the burritos were that good. (One of the ingredients was bacon, bacon lovers.)
Also there are vegetarian options, including Seitan. I had the chicken, the Missus had the steak and tasted a piece. It was amazing. If the front of the store was just a little bigger— Just big enough to hold two more tables, it would be perfect. I only say that because it’s about 9 miles away from me, so it’s kinda not worth it for me to do take out. I don’t think I could drive all that way with the smell filling my car!
But there’s plenty of stuff to do around Pitman these days, so definitely keep it in mind if you’re in the area. Here’s hoping they open one closer to me!
I give Dia De Los Burritos 7 out of 10 keggers.
