Welcome to Twitter in Focus where media comes to die. Today’s contestant is Louis C.K. It sounds weird to say this, but I think of Louis as more than just a stand up comedian. There are guys that are funny and then there are guys that are funny and make you think. And besides doing that, like Howard Stern, Louis is very real. I like what he does. It’s risky. Edgy, I think. His show on FX very much encompasses that. Let’s see if his tweets do.

I saw clips of this on Youtube (the only way to watch TV). Nice. Is it like double work to have to do the show AND work on stand up, I wonder. Must be kind of a grind.

Awesome. That’s probably an easy five seasons then. They like to get to 100 episodes for syndication. I think this show is a lock.

This is a perfect time to have a show on FX because they show everything like 20 times so you can’t miss it. Just had an idea: Sons off Anarchy/Louie crossover.
August 10th: “Tomorrow there are 2 NEW EPISODES of LOUIE back to back! 10:30 and ll:00. 2nd one stars DOUG STANHOPE and he is FUCKING GREAT!”
I saw that one and it was fucking great. That was a PERFECT character for Doug Stanhope to play. My God, I saw so much of my friends who were into stand up in that character and myself. It was a little scary.

For a second, I thought that said “Bacon Theater” which would be just too awesome.

Thank God. Who are these people that keep faking celebrity Twitters? So annoying.
Okay, let’s rate Louis’ tweets. Basically, he’s using it to pimp his show, but what I left out was that he did respond to a lot of fans and Rob Lowe. And who amongst us can resist, Rob Lowe? Like the show Louie, there’s more to it than what you describe. Let’s rate Louis’ tweets: I give him an 8 for Mustness. He’s got fairly recent posts. A 9 for Insanity, because he’s talking to fans and that’s always tough. And finally a 10 for Style. What can I say? I just admire what the man does. That’s an overall score of 9. Follow Louis or you’re a bastard.
