I was kinda of desperate for a place to eat coming back from the Philly Wizard World convention.  Driving around hungry in South Jersey makes me bad at making decisions.  At first, I wanted to stop at Ponzio’s, but the place was packed.  I ended up in Eagle Plaza, but Five Guys had CLOSED!  Eeek!  Then I remember Sal Vito was nearby.  I had been wanting to try it for a long time, but I usually ended up in Pancheros.  Tonight was the night.

It’s a standard pizza place with some chairs.  The staff is all family, which is nice, but they had CNN on and it was kind of loud.  I should’ve gone outside.  I had a slice of pizza, cheesesteak hoagie and a bottle of unsweetened iced tea.  The pizza was good, although a little too much crust on my slice.  The cheesesteak came with the addition of mayo, which I had not asked for.  It was good, but I really didn’t want the mayo.  Kind of made me feel bloated afterwards.

All in all, a solid place.  I would go there again, but I would probably take it out.

I give Sal Vito Pizza 7 out of 10 keggers.
