So I hadn’t eaten all day at the Philly Wizard World Comic Book Convention, but I had only suffered from 4pm to 9pm.  For some reason, that’s what Wizard decided the hours would be on a Thursday.  I was positively starving when I got out and I didn’t want to walk all the way to Chinatown.  Technically, I was in it, but the majority of the restaurants were two blocks away.  After a quick search on my phone, Nom Wah and their 4.5 stars on Google Reviews appeared.  I decided to go.

It was 9:10 and the place closed at 10, but I was seated.  The hostess/waitress was exceedingly pleasant as I looked a wreck from walking in the rain.  I order General Tso’s Shrimp, Shrimp Shu Mai, sticky rice with Chinese sausage and a Pork Bun.  Let me tell you, all were excellent.  Everything from the presentation to the taste.  My shrimp were huge, cooked still in the shell.  I was in a fog until I gobbled it all down and gobble I did.  Sometimes Chinese places leave you feeling thirsty or your stomach’s upset because the food is of bad quality—  Not Nom Wah.  I felt great.  Would totally go again and I just might.

I give Nom Wah 9 out of 10 keggers only because my table was a little sticky.  Other than that, you gotta try this place, bros!
