For various reasons, my date and I decided to meet at Sakura for dinner.  It’s a really nice place with a bar and the Benihana-style tables/cooking areas.  The whole point is, you watch the food being cooked and there’s a whole show.  We weren’t up for the show since we were on a date, so we sat at a regular table.

I was up for sushi and ordered some.  It was good.  It was a nice spread of nigiri.  My date had Terriyaki chicken, which I tasted, also good.  Our waitress was very friendly and my drink was never empty.  Basically, we paid for the show, but didn’t get it.  Oh, well, that’s probably our fault.  Still, it was pretty high for what food we did have.  I had a great appetizer as well.

I give Sakura 7.5 out of 10 keggers.  A little pricey, but if you sit where the show is, it’s probably about right.
