So the Missus wanted pizza, but I was ambivalent about what to eat.  Then I remembered the Healthy Garden.  We had been there two or three times.  It’s a good mix of health food and pizza stuff.  There are plenty of vegan options and fresh smoothies.  That’s the problem with you average pizzeria, right?  Everything deep fried and covered in cheese.  Best you could normally do is a side salad to balance it out.

Healthy Garden has way more options.  Salads galore, but their pizzas really good too.  I split the difference and got a Stromboli with chicken, pesto, cheese and tomato.  The Missus got a white pizza with broccoli, spinach and ricotta cheese.  Both were delicious, but if I had to nitpick, my Stromboli could’ve stayed in the oven another five minutes and the white pizza probably could’ve used a few more spoons of ricotta.

Our waitress was attentive and polite.  They have various iced teas, but not plain: passion fruit and green tea mango.  I prefer the latter.  And the best part about the whole dinner, besides tasting very fresh, was that it was nice and affordable.

I give Happy Garden Gourmet Pizza 8 out of 10 keggers.
