Hey Bros!

Welcome to Twitter in Focus where media comes to die.  Today’s contestant is Mark Hamill, AKA: Luke Skywalker.  Let’s see what a Jedi tweets.

@HamillHimself

December 11th:  “Regular Show is renewed for a 6th season as expected-I get an Annie nomination for Skips which was unexpected, but much appreciated-Thanks!”

Skips is awesome.  Can’t get enough of that show.  If you haven’t watched it, you should.

December 20th:  “Last day to support amazing doc I narrated about the inspirational Chris Rush! Please RT! My best gift ever!!!”

Wow, just made it.

December 20th:  “Help make it happen for ‘Stephanie Miller Show on Free Speech TV’ via Mama needs our support!!!”

Damn, that one you crushed.  I gotta get the celebrity endorsement for my next KS.

January 7th:  “A remarkable story I recommend for all to see.

Neat.  Mark loves the documentaries.

January 7th:  “PUT CITIZENS UNITED IN THE DUMPSTER OF BAD IDEAS

And he’s political too.  Nice.  Not too many celebs go there.  Although Citizens United is a pretty bad law.  Although, Moveon.org is basically just a branch of the Democratic Party.

January 20th:  “”Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”-Martin Luther King, Jr.. One of the most inspirational figures of all time!”

How could you not also mention Mace Windu?

January 22nd:  “I’ll be doing my first ama tomorrow at 1PST. Hope see you there! Fingers crossed you can all help me make it special!”

Totally missed it.  If I had know, I would’ve asked, “Did they let you keep the light saber at the end of each movie?”  That would be pretty cool.  And really, he should have at least ONE.

January 22nd:  “Recently saw ‘s photos! What great memories! Thanks for sharing pal!”

Those were pretty cool.

January 22nd:  “About to launch ama! Can’t wait to hear from everyone!

I would also ask, “Did you ever dress up as the Joker and just scare the shit out of people?”

January 22nd:  “Here’s the link for my ama ! See you there!”

You answered a lot.  Solid responses.

January 31st:  “Find out how you can contribute to and have a chance for us to meet face-to-face. Every little bit helps!

Charity.  Also nice.  You want the “real” Luke Skywalker to be a good guy.  If he was running around doing coke and hookers, it just would be sad.

February 3rd:  “Still in a state of shock. Such a tragic loss. He willll truly be missed…forever. RIP PSH “ ””

And then there’s that.  Very sad.

February 4th:  “Congrats to all Annie winners! Especially Bobby&Kristen Lopez &Tom Kenny! All 3 pals& all 3 BRILLIANT!!

It’s nice to just read a happy, positive twitter in general.

February 7th:  “Today is the 50th anniversary of The Beatles’ 1st US visit. To this day I’ve never experienced anything like the excitement they created!!!!”

That’s why you stole the haircut.  It all makes sense now.

February 7th:  “The Neighbors-most underrated comedy on TV is missing from ABC tonight Hope they’re saving them til after the Olympics-it deserves a chance!”

Nah, I’ll watch Regular Show.

February 8th:  “See my incredibly talented son Griffin’s paintings . The cookies are insanely delicious! 11301 W Olympic#106 LA 90064 GO NOW!”

Family plug.  Nice.

Okay, let’s rate Mark’s tweet.  Positivity off the charts.  I give him a 9 for Style, a 7 for Mustness and a 9 for Insanity.  That’s an overall score of 8.3, but Jedis get rounded up, so 9.  Follow Luke—  I mean, the Joker—  I mean, Skips.
